This month's archival snippet is about the 'Research Associates' or 'Research Assistants' or 'Academic Associates' that have been a part of IIMA's journey since the 1960s as they assist in teaching and research activities. Most famously, one RA went on to become the Director of IIMA- Prof. Jahar Saha. One example of a IIMA PGP turned RA is Prof. G Raghuram (PGP 1978), who later became faculty member at IIMA and was recently the Director of IIM-B. As the document of the month, we are attaching an article from Contact, an in-house magazine published in the 1980s, called "PGP turns RA" and "RA turns PGP" which brings out many aspects of their lives. |
