This month, IIMA Archives brings you a brief snippet on Vikalpa, IIMA's in-house journal. Vikalpa, a Sanskrit word, "carries a rich repository of meanings: diversity, alternatives, logic, and freedom of choice". Vikalpa, IIMA's in-house journal, was launched in 1976 and since then, it has run uninterrupted, four times a year, with contributions from leading academics and practitioners in the field of management. Often, it has served as the first outlet for disseminating doctoral research. As part of its silver jubilee celebrations in 2000, a special issue was dedicated to reflections by faculty who had served as the journal's editors. We present the contribution of Prof. S. Sreenivas Rao, first managing editor of Vikalpa, as the document of the month. |
