This month's IIMA Archives snippet highlights and congratulates our PGP 1975 alumna, Ms. Chandrika Tandon. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, she won the prestigious Grammy for Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album for her album Triveni in the ceremony held on February 2, 2025 in Los Angeles. Ms. Chandrika Tandon is a globally recognized business leader, lifelong philanthropist, twice nominated Grammy-winning artist, and gifted musician. She is also the elder sister of Ms. Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo. Her debut album, Soul Call, released in 2009, also received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary World Music in 2011. As the document of the month, we present some archival records from the time when she was a PGP participant, her long-term associations with the institute, her performance during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Institute in 2011, her contributions over the years through archival records, photographic records, and newspaper mention of her recent Grammy win. In 2024, the IIMA Endowment Fund released a short film as a visual tribute to the spirit of IIMA embodied by the alumni community across all walks of life and geographies. This significant collaborative effort involved over 40 alumni globally over a year and showcased the emotional bond between the alumni and the Institute.
