This month's archival snippet brings the spotlight on Anish Shah (PGP 1992, Dorm-4) who became the CEO and MD of the Mahindra Group on April 2, 2021. Anish's family has a long standing association with IIMA. His father, Dilip Shah, was a student of the first batch (PGP 1966) and his mother, Smita Dalal, is from the second batch (PGP 1967). This is the first family of IIMA where father, mother and child, all graduated from the PGP program of IIMA. Dilip Shah passed away in 2019 and an article outlining his numerous achievements in the pharmaceutical industry is available on this link. As the document of the month, we attach a snippet of Anish Shah from the 1992 student yearbook along with a 2018 WIMWIAN article on how his parents met at IIMA. |
