Prof. Indira J. Parikh (1943- ), was a faculty member of IIMA in the Organizational Behaviour Area for three decades and Dean of IIMA from 2002 to 2005. She pioneered executive education programmes for women, consulted with international organizations across various countries, and anchored the iconic course 'Explorations in Roles and Identity' (ERI) for two decades. After leaving IIMA, she was the founder-President of FLAME University, Pune, from 2005 to 2015. In this interview, she recounts her childhood in Gujarat, the travels in US and Europe after marriage with her physicist-husband, her determination to pursue higher education and the challenges she faced in research, teaching, consultancy and administration at IIMA since the 1970s. |
