Since 2012, three of the four Chief Economic Advisors (CEA) of India have had an IIMA connection: Dr. Raghuram Rajan (PGP 1987, Dorm 11), 2012-14, Dr. Arvind Subramanian (PGP 1981, Dorm 15), 2014-18 and Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran (PGP 1985, Dorm 10), who was recently appointed as the CEA. As document of the month, we present archival snippets on Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran. A previous IIMA-CEA connection was via I G Patel who was CEA in the 1960s, and much later became Director of IIMA (1982-84). |
