It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Professor Abraham Koshy (1953-2024) on December 17, 2024. Professor Koshy had a longstanding connection with the institute, beginning as a doctoral student who graduated in 1987, and later as a faculty member from 1989 to 2018. During his time at IIMA, Professor Koshy was highly respected as a teacher and corporate trainer. You can find more information about Professor Koshy on this link. Throughout his tenure at IIMA, Professor Koshy made significant contributions through his teaching, research, publications in prestigious journals, case studies, books, and seminars. In addition to his academic work, Professor Koshy held various administrative roles, including the chairperson of marketing area, chairperson of the alumni centre committee, the editor and chairperson of the editorial board of Vikalpa: The Journal for Decision Makers, and as a member of executive committees for various programs and activities.
