Mr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra was appointed as the first professional Archivist at IIMA in March 2022. Prior to this, he served as a Curator at the Corps of Engineers (Indian Army) Archives & Museum for approximately five years.

Mr. Mishra holds a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History from Delhi University, as well as a technical post-master's diploma in Archives & Records Management from the National Archives of India.

In his role at the IIMA Archives, he is responsible for overseeing various aspects such as Archives & Records Management, Archives Administration, Digitization, Dissemination, Research & Reference services, Various Publications, Outreach & Promotional Activities. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Mishra also has a passion for writing poetry.
