The India Pharma Archives is the first public memory initiative dedicated to chronicling the journey of India's pharmaceutical industry.

Presented by the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA) in collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad Archives, this project captures the people, institutions, and turning points that have shaped one of India's most impactful and globally relevant sectors.

Built as a living archive, the project brings together oral histories, archival documents, photographs, and rare media to trace the evolution of Indian pharma over a century.

The project launched the illustrative book, The Alchemy of Cure, on Jan 13, 2026. The website of India Pharma Archives is currently under development.
