Prof. Sanjeev Tripathi, a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, worked in the Marketing Area from May 2012 to July 2016. His research interests included consumer behavior, specifically behavioural pricing, numeral cognition and behavioral economics. He was also interested in sports marketing and sports management. He wrote more than 15 cases and coauthored a book on Trucking Business Management. His teaching interests were Pricing, Neuro Science and Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Marketing, Sports Marketing, Business Research Methods and Experimental Methods for Research. He was also involved in mentoring the IIM at Nagpur in its early days. He taught in executive education programs for organizations such as Pepsi, Reliance Capital, Ircon, Ambuja, Exide and Meril Life Sciences. Prior to joining IIMA, he was an IRSME officer with the Indian Railways, working on operations, logistics, production and procurement. He consulted with P&G on their innovation processes, new product development, market size assessment and optimal marketing mix for product launches across Australia, ASEAN, India Japan and Korea.
