|Piyush Kumar Sinha|
Prof. Piyush Kumar Sinha worked at IIMA from October 19, 2001 to March 11, 2019. He completed his doctorated from Sardar Patel University. Prior to joining IIMA, he had taught at many management schools and was Dean at MICA. He taught Retailing and Marketing Management and Consumer Behaviour. He also chaired the Centre for Retailing at IIMA for some time. Dr. Sinha consulted with companies in service management, marketing strategies, retail efforts and marketing communication. He worked on loyalty programmes, enhancing the performance of the outlets and redefining the role of outlets in new environments. During his tenure in industry, Dr. Sinha had headed the marketing function in a leading utility firm and an FMCG company.
