Professor C N S Nambudiri worked in the Business Policy Area from 17th September 1962 to 11th September 1976.

He had joined the Institute on his 32nd birthday.

Prof Nambudiri obtained his BSc and MSc in Zoology from the University of Madras in 1949 and 1950 respectively. He then taught Zoology as a Lecturer at S N College in Quilon till 1959. Later, he completed his MBA in Industrial Management in 1962 from the DePaul University.

His publications include Attitudes and Values of Upcoming Nigerian Professionals: A Question of Concern; Corporate Planning Practices in Private Sector Companies in India and The Critical Function of General Management in India.

Prof Nambudiri was the recipient of the Buckie Prize and the Buckie Senior Studentship of Madras Christian College. He was also a member of the Delta Mu Delta Society-a National Scholastic Honor Society for Evening Commerce Students.
