Dr. S K Khanna (1932-) is an academic in the field of transportation and highway engineering and an administrator in the world of higher education in India.

He studied Civil Engineering at the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and got a PhD in Engineering in 1968 from the University of Wisconsin. From 1958 to 1984 he was closely associated with the department of Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee. He was Secretary (1984-90) and Vice-Chairman (1990-1993) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Chairman (1993-96) of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
